E' accelerato dal tempo che dedichiamo a guardarci attorno, ma rallentato dal tempo che passiamo svegli, in raccoglimento silenzioso, con gli occhi chiusi o, comunque, non impegnati a guardare qualcuno o qualcosa solo per abitudine.
It gets accelerated by the time we spend looking around, but slowed down by the time we spend awake, and yet in silent recollection, with our eyes shut, or at least not involved in looking at somebody or something just out of a habit.
Resulta acelerado por el tiempo que usamos para mirar alrededor, pero relentizado por el tiempo que pasamos despiertos en silencioso recojimiento, con los ojos cerrados, o por lo menos sin usarlos para mirar a alguien o algo justo por costumbre.
