La sapienza é utile, ma la saggezza é indispensabile. L'una costa ed é spesso associata alla superbia. L'altra é gratuita e presuppone l'umiltá di sapersi nulla di per sé.
Knowledge is useful, while wisdom is indispensable. The former is not easy to obtain and is often associated with pride. The latter is free of charge and requires the humility of knowing oneself as being nothing per se.
El conocimiento es útil, pero la sabiduría es indispensable. El primero cuesta y se asocia a menudo a la soberbia. La segunda es gratis y presupone la humildad de reconocer que no somos nada de por sí.
