E' facile affermare che il denaro sia solo uno strumento. Ma quando spendo tempo pensando ad esso, a come farne di piu', a come spenderne meno, riesco anche a farlo in presenza di Dio? Diversamente, sara' assai difficile non cadere nell'equivoco di cercare di servire allo stesso tempo Dio ed il denaro, cosa che Gesu' ci ricorda essere impossibile.
It 's easy to say that money is only a tool. But when I spend time thinking about it, how to make more, how to spend less, can I do so in the presence of God? Otherwise, it will be very difficult not to fall into the ambiguity of trying to serve both God and money, something that Jesus reminded us to be impossible.
Es fácil decir que el dinero es sólo una herramienta. Pero cuando paso tiempo pensando en él, en cómo ganar más, en cómo gastar menos, puedo de verdad hacerlo en presencia de Dios? De lo contrario, será muy difícil no caer en la ambigüedad de tratar de servir a Dios y al dinero, algo que Jesús nos recuerda ser imposible.
